Funny story on the topic of press box food


The Clesmon softball stadium is absolutley beautiful and the folks there were very kind to me. I absolutely loved my time there.

They set me up in a two person "visitor radio booth" and it was certainly a dream come true. Some of the time, I was the only person in the booth.

HOWEVER, I did happen to notice that on Friday - doubleheader day - that all the other members of the press received a voucher for food from the concession stand. Somehow they missed the one guy from Virginia Tech....lol

It's all good and I would go back in a heartbeat - but I would bring my own snacks next time.

Louisville, on the other hand, was very outgoing and was constantly offering me a drink or snack, and Liberty also had food available.

Seriously, however, I do not go for the food. Just get me in the park to watch the game and I'm good!
